Wedding at The Boat House, Riverhead
Megan and Guy’s wedding at The Boat House, Riverhead, is one of our all-time favorites. I just had so much fun hanging out with these two and capturing them getting married.
Megan and Guy met at broadcasting school where they both went to study Radio. Megan had found him very attractive, but they never really talked or became close. Two years later, Megan moved to Auckland for a job and saw Guy at Kim Dot Com’s album release Christmas party. They became best friends from that night onwards and became exclusive after 3 months. They shook hands on a verbal contact that if after one month it didn’t work out as boyfriend and girlfriend, they could go back to just being best friends, but the contract was never brought up again because six years later, they got married!
The talented team at Herah ensured that Megan looked stunning in her wedding dress. Inco Studio worked their magic on her hair, while Sam Hart created a flawless makeup look. The Florist NZ added the perfect floral touches that complemented the natural beauty of the venue. NZ DJ kept the party alive with their fantastic music selection, ensuring that guests had a great time throughout the evening. Styling by A Perfect Day was simply stunning. Together, these vendors created a truly magical experience for the couple and their guests, and I’m so happy to be a part of it.
